DESCRIPTION:
Samuel Marti, Paris, France, figural mantel clock, 8 day, time and strike, spring driven pendule de Paris movement in a white marble case on turned brass feet with applied gilt ornaments, supporting gilt figures of a woman, dog, and Cupid, white convex enamel dial with Arabic numerals and gilt fleur-de-lis hands.
CONDITION:
The white marble case is in very good condition with some tiny chips and one small chip on the lower right side. The white enamel dial is very good. Gilt hands are excellent. Gilt figures are also very good. Marti movement is stamped with the award medal for 1900. Case and dial are both marked "France" and the movement "Made in France ".
